The TIC left blank brings up as an error and is preventing submission!

Methinks the TIC number is the TAX IDENTIFICATION CODE issued to you when you applied to be taxed in Cyprus. Mine we already entered on the Taxisnet form, also quoting both my pension providers. All it left me to do was fill in the total income received from each, euros and cents separated by a comma............Simples

I've typed this reply out twice already today but it hasn't shown up. Here goes again...and I just hope all three don't suddenly come online!

If you phoned your UK pension providers and asked for the TIC (Tax Identification Code) perhaps they did not realise what you were talking about. The banks I phoned were Cyprus banks. Don't know how you get a TIC for UK state pension. On an old UK tax return I see it is called Tax Reference. I have looked on my Cyprus tax return and see that this has been filled in automatically with the code 1800000IM. Perhaps worth a try?

You have probably sorted out your employee code by now but I seem to remember having a similar problem in the past. If you scroll up the code column to the top there is (or was) a blank space to the left where perhaps a nought might be.I clicked on this and it deleted the code.

Leaving the TIC space blank did not work for me Mr Blobby, but as dot-dash suggested my personal TIC does seem to have been accepted. Hurrah for that. However I have the following "errors"

As my address was already filled in when I opened the form, I have no idea why it's not accepting that.

The GESY Certificate I received from Ms Michaels appears not to have been accepted. Maybe on Monday when those responsible for the form start work they can update the date box. If not, I'll need to try the phone.

Finally completed my tax return without any errors! Many thanks for all whole offered good advice. My main problems were:
1) What to enter in the various TIC boxes, answer - Nothing (it worked for me!)
And 2) How to clear codes from income/pensions no longer valid, answer - there is a blank space at the top of the code menus which I hadn't noticed before!!
I also couldn't claim for spouses Life insurance premiums this as I had done before (now can only claim from if policy taken out before 2003).

If you have the certificate the S1 Number is your UK NI number. The date needed is the date the certificate was sent (top right) The Ref number is on the top left side starting MOH then a series of numbers. I entered the number as it appears including the dots.

It's still not accepting the date on my Certificate from MOH of 24/09/ Says dates must be between 01/03/20 & 22/09/20. No one answers any of the phones in the Paphos office either! 2 messages left now.

Yeah, done it at last & I'm owed a small refund!

The Resolution - I had to delete the pre-entered name & address and for me to enter it (no changes!?) It now accepted my SI Certificate date of 24/09 & the other problem was I'd entered 0,00 in some parts whereas I should have left completely blank.
