Have they applied for a new licence? There must be a procedure for renewal..

Maybe not enough people advertising to make it worth while

The only saving grace is not hearing a certain estate agents awful advert, are there any more stations to listen to? I know of another one but wouldn't bother with it,looks like my radio is going to have a rest after Friday

Hi Guys

Forgive me for asking the obvious, but why have they not applied for and extension or renewal of their license .

Or are there underlying issues regards having a license

Very sad news. I've enjoyed listening to it and have much preferred listening to it.

No good in the car 8-)
That's why I have CD's though most of my journeys are very short, so even those gather dust!

That'w what we do too. It amazes me how the random facility can throw up weird combinations at times.

I wonder why they haven't reapplied for a license? It's a pity as I do enjoy the station and considering it's past history i was pleased it survived, until now. :-(

Sunshine are not saying why they are closing. Neither are they saying anything about renewal or non-renewal of the licence. Why are they being so silent? Surely they owe it to their listeners to give an explanation.

I can't help but think there is more to it. But it can't be to do with their controversial past after all this time.

Listen to Sunshine first thing in the morning as they give regular local news updates but Rock fm don’t. First world news is at 9am each morning and at the weekends no news bulletins at all. Sorry to hear the news of their closure but surely something must have been prearranged.
