Looking to install a water feature in th3 garden. Not the fountain type, but more the falling through stones type.
The adverts for a submersible water pump quote figure like 180/ 200 litre per hour
(Saw a 1000 l/h this morning in Begonia Gardens, but I think that this is way too much.)
Does anyone know what sort of figure I should be looking at.
Not a replica of Lake Geneva, more a 1 or 2 inch high , bubbly- down-thorough -the - stones type.
Does anyone know where I can get a solar version. Can only find mains versions at the moment
Tia

Annivia Garden Centre (Mr Chicken Road) have a decent choice of large and small pumps, but they are quite expensive. Not sure whether they have any solar powered ones.
As an alterative, you could cannibalise a garden water feature from, say, SuperHomeCenter or Homemarket and use the pump in your own arrangement.

I bought mine from LA DIY and it was to use in a similar to you, but cascading gently down a wall, gently though! They are pretty helpful up there.

That’s really really good.
Just shown it to the Mukhtar, and he thinks it would be more appropriate outside his office window in Anarita

He would also want to use music by DemiS Rousos (The Singing Kaftan) as being more traditional.
He also points out that it would solve a problem with watering his plants

We have stayed there many times, and the view from the room is fantastic.Cheshire Lad wrote: ↑Thu Jun 18, 2020 9:45 am That’s really really good.

@mouse
Thanks for that. You’ve introduced a new factor to the choices.....Variable output
That gives me a new spec as to what I’m looking for
