https://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-53059633New Zealand has confirmed two new cases of coronavirus, ending a 24-day streak of no new infections in the country.

This illustrates just how easily the infection can spread. IMHO, Cyprus, like New Zealand, should impose strict quarantine for 14 days on all newcomers and arrivals. The problem in New Zealand was that dispensation from strict rules was offered to the two infected persons. That could easily happen here, as well.

This also happened here in April:
''The mayor said that Aradippou residents had complied with the stay at home decrees. But 15 days ago, before the decrees were enacted, the virus was spread in the community by people who had come from the UK to attend three funerals — one of a person who had died in Cyprus and of two who had died abroad and were buried in Cyprus''.
