Well both my wife and I are in our 70's and have had no hesitation in using the aircon over the last few days... I have little doubt that is will be on again here around lunchtime today

I think the advice about not using a/c was aimed at public places restaurants and hairdressers etc .

I think in our own homes we will be ok as long as nobody has corona .

Needless to say we have be using ours , and will continue to do so .

Being in that age group too, I am Using my aircon as and when necessary.I have had all of them serviced last week, filters cleaned and the special sanitising liquid Was applied to remove any bacteria, viruses etc. Also some refrigerant gas as required,
I think that it is false economy to not take care to avoid getting overheated in these very high temperatures. Someone who I know died very recently at night sadly.I don’t know whether aircon was being used.
