Jimgward,
A couple of days ago I thought the same. I was in a shop fully masked and gloved up and I noticed many people shopping without the same protections. After confronting several people and getting the usual shrug of the shoulders I went to the tills and asked them what the situation is. Apparently now the 'rules' only require those working in shops etc. to wear masks and gloves. Having said this, personally I will continue to wear masks and gloves until I am satisfied that the risk of not doing so has passed.

Austin, there are warnings from AsthmaUK about warm air and masks, to I can understand - especially in Cyprus. I have a number of different types of masks and the Deltaplus FFP3 mask with a red filter allows proper airflow. I have other FFP3 masks that don’t, so it’s not just the level of protection.

However, even a lightweight silk scarf can be better than nothing
