Oh dear! I lost my paddy this morning when I couldn't find a new pair of trousers. Red alert! 
Seriously though, yes it behoves all of us to be cautious about starting a fire. Even a piece of broken glass can start one off in this weather.

The heat/sun where I an in Chloraka is so intense that it is even shriveling sone of the Mediterranean sun loving plants in my garden. They have been well watered earlier. The thermometer which is shaded was showing 42c. There is no breeze here.
I have been here for over 20 years, but I don’t remember such high temperatures In May before.
