I was in the old town around 13:30 today and called into a Jewelry shop passing a shoe shop also open but not much else with only about 2 dozen or so people spotted on my travels. Plenty of traffic wardens out and about!

Did any of the small shops in the Old Town and the Market actually open today? I thought that they were able to.

I talked to Evi this morning, who runs Pumpkin House. She will be opening next monday. A lot of the artisan shops rely mainly on tourist trade though, which is non-existent at the moment.
If you have a favourite shop which you want to open again, I would suggest contacting them and letting them know. The more people who do that, the sooner they will be able to judge whether it is cost-effective to open.

I was told by a policeman that because of age 65 I belive you do not need to send SMS text message, in fact we have never sent one, he confirmed this as long as we had the OK form. We did think the was the correct procedure, but it is all rather confusing to many.
I have driven through the Old Town several times when I’ve been shopping, I just had the normal paperwork with me. I had been shopping at Paps, Ellados Ave, and wanted to go to M&S Food Store. and the old post office to check my PO Box.I went and had no problem.Parking was easier as the cafe was closed.
