Mag box accepting requests

Post by Mrblobby »

I had a message on my mag box saying they are accepting requests for films or series , no guarantees , but they will try .

Obviously not all providers , I am with uktvmedia.

Such good value and so much available on it that it is very hard for me to think of anytuing they could add , not a film or series I know but for us with hearing problems subtitles would be nice in English , perhaps they are availeb and I am not aware of them, No doubt if they are some one on here will enlighten me

I have just seen Banshee has been added to the list today , it is 4 seasons...38 episode’s . I can definitely recommend it and I think I might even watch it again . It might not be to everyone’s taste .

I dont have a mag box but my Triotech hand set can do this.
Click your menu button, there should be a sub menu for enabling subtitles.

Some films have subtitles , you use the music note button to change mode .

Never been able to get subtitles with tv ....unless someone knows different ?

Sub titles on live tv streams is a bit tricky to do, however it is possible to encode them, but they will be there all the time, plus it adds bandwidth and cpu load in the encoder.

I will however ask the question if some channels can be streamed with the sub-titles.

One of our providers does do sub-titles with some channels, that is the Gold package.
