I only found out this morning that St. Michaels Hospice charity shop in Polemi is moving to new better premises.
Those who live in the village and surrounding areas will know that the Bank of Cyprus building has been empty for a while.
Well, it is empty no longer as St Michaels charity shop are moving into the premises, and hope to be open tomorrow..
To me this seems a good move as it is in the 'square' and there is good parking outside the shop ...
Pop in and grab a bargain

I hope the BoC gave it to them in a charitable move!

The Samaritans Charity Shop in Chloraka is located in the former BOC premises - so perhaps BOC is treating it as a charitable deed and offering the premises at a very reasonable rate.
Peter Morton Removals have been thanked by St Michael's Hospice Charity for supplying free of charge a removal team and van to move the contents of the Polemi shop to the new premises.

It is my understanding that the premises are owned by a villager not Bank of Cyprus.
