Logbook
Logbook
Hi folks can anybody help? Is there anyway I can tax my car without a logbook, returned from UK couple of weeks ago and realised the logbook inadvertently went to UK with us!,my partner posted recorded delivery straight away but it has been lost in the post!!!!! The car has insurance and MOT .Thanks
Re: Logbook
Go to, JCC Smart .com, you should get the info there, off the top of my head, I dont think you need the log book
Re: Logbook
I think the citizens service centre can issue a duplicate. You might have to swear an affidavit at the court though. Not a difficult process.
Re: Logbook
Don't panic... you have two weeks yet..
The last date for renewals is March 10, 2020. After that date there will be a surcharge

Re: Logbook
On line all you will need at JCC is your car Reg number, a credit/debit card and the last 4 digits of your ID or passport.
Re: Logbook
Just being pedantic, sorry, but it's the last 4 digits in the [C9] column of the 'log book' - which is supposed to be what you say, but mine bears no resemblance to any passport or Alien's card that I have ever had.mike strand2 wrote: ↑Mon Feb 24, 2020 5:17 pm On line all you will need at JCC is your car Reg number, a credit/debit card and the last 4 digits of your ID or passport.

Re: Logbook
Yes it can be taxed without the LOGBOOK at any commercial bank or at Citizens Service Centre .
All that is required is the Current MOT and Valid Insurance cover.
