Do airlines tell porky,s?

Post by Chaddy »

We saved up a zillion airmiles with a certain airline.Being in the,,,,,well,,,,,autumn years of our lives we thought we had better use them. After all, airmiles die with you ( sorry children ).
We got on line, checked our flight dates, and yes reward seats where available for five dates around when we wanted to fly...So far so good.
We logged off to allow our ageing grey matter to give it some thought about the exact date we wanted to fly.We logged on the following day and horror :o ,,all the reward seats where gone for the dates that the airline said where available the day before.
Feeling,,,,well,,,a little cheesed off,a day later we attempted the mammoth task of phoning the airline direct and speak to a living person who can understand what you are saying,,,( despite a well travelled friend saying it would be easier to speak to the pope )and,,,, eureka,,,could make a decission.
Success,,all the seats where suddenly now available :o
Why did they tell us the day before that the reward seats where unavailable

That’s a good reason to clear browsing history and cookies after searching for things like that
