I don't think it reflects badly on the Brits here, the majority of Brits do not go out scamming or stealing, and on the whole the Cypriots are happy having them here and spending their cash here..... you get a bad apple in every nationality

Innocent until proved guilty. A very nasty post from you, do you have any evidence of this Lady's scamming attempts?

I don't think this British woman will return to Cyprus in a hurry:

12 November 2018
A British woman, 23, was remanded for one day by the Paphos district court on Monday after she was arrested for allegedly using violence against a 42-year-old hotel restaurant waitress.According to police, the waitress filed a report against the British woman, claiming that the 23-year-old had thrown plates at her, hitting her in the face....

Alpha bank do not charge for internet bank transfers to other Alpha bank customers only, if you pay someone who is with another Cyprus bank they charge 3 Euro per payment.

Emgee, methinks youre digging deeper. This ladies name and full details would have been in the computer system and when her passport was scanned at entry, would Have flagged her up as a ‘known felon’ who had run, rather than pay a bill - and presumably ignored requests sent to the UK for her to pay.

Nobody walks out a hotel ‘forgetting’ to pay - especially for 2 weeks. It was reported at the time and she will be lucky if she pays now and gets chucked out of Cyprus and not tried.

Obviously not. You don't know, you don't work at the hotel. Innocent until proven guilty.
