Water, Water, Everywhere and Not a Drop to Drink

Post by Varky »

Water off in (Upper) Peyia for the second time in two days. Anybody know why Peyia is unable to provide a reliable water supply?

It must be some part of Peyia only as no problems with us.

I have property on Koutsoulatremithias and water has always been temperamental - been told its due to an old pump in the area that they cant afford to replace!

What about the excess 1.5? million euro that they said they have. Or some massive amount anyway. So surely they can repair/replace the pump??

Just be thankful you aren't in Pissouri. From what I read they've been having serious issues.

With the water supply, as opposed to the other water-related issues they have had.

It’s about time that Peyia Municipality replaced the unreliable pump... is there no way to put pressure on them?

Mouse,
The two to which you refer are obviously in the minority and remote from reality. Don't be put off by only a couple of uninformed dissenters and stand by what you know to be the truth.
