Fire in Paphos

Post by Ray in Goudi »

Looked like a substantial fire in Paphos today.
Not sure where but this was taken on the coast past the fort.
First thought was the airport but it was probably too close for that.

It was about 200 metres behind the petrol station en route to the airport by the Agia Vivara turn. It looked like somebody had taken the opportunity to burn old tyres or something similar.

But no, Thursday isn’t a hunting day! That takes place (legally!) on Sundays and Weds.
Today, according to the paper a certain company is striking, hopefully its nothing to do with anyone feeling disgruntled...

And last evening, another fire that looked like it was just beyond Wednesday's fire near Drymou.
