The costs for a Mag box will probably be a little over €100 .. I think the costs for a full TV service are around €25 euros a month..

I did not pay that much Trev, but then again I did not buy locally, my last unit cost about €60's, with postage from Amazon another €18.

Les I can give you the total cost, SOS charge approximately €100 for the MAG, and six months subscription €125.

You can also find providers from the internet and one I know many use over here is based in Switzerland are €20 a month a provide an excellent product which has not been affected by the temporary loss of service that some of the local providers have suffered lately.

Yes the internet is one answer, and in the past have used that Swiss provider, but what do you do when problems arise? best to get your subs paid locally I feel, certainly always found local suppliers very handy come the fix time.. :D By the way had no problems myself, maybe just luck?

As a Sky tv and mobile customer in the UK, I can watch Sky on my mobile devices without using any data out of my monthly allowance.

I’ll be out in Cyprus next month and will be able to watch what I want when I want

Beechwood morning.

I prefer my supply agent to be close, in fact our is usually only a minute away, I can usually sort loading problems out myself, but Mags can and do get complicated, so both my suppliers are very close by and none of them ever lock the units, if they did I would avoid using them, although it is simple to get them unlocked.

Both my system are fully loaded, with all Sky sports and programming, and of course UK TV too, with regular updates automatically with the latest films and TV serials. my Swiss account never covered all of these, I never look now for the cheapest options although the chap Lloyd uses is also one I use too, he is very reasonable and is available to contact very easily, PM me if you wish to make contact.

Cheers
Jim.

Oddly my SOS package was a problem kept loading itself and going blank, my other unit was fine for F1 but in the day very troublesome, I think in my case Cyta had problems.

All's well this morning.

and well done Lewis!!
