Does it start each day at 1, or is it just where it left off from the previous day?

I was there speaking to No.7 at 11:30am & at that point decided to give up!

I suspect it would start at No.1 again.. Whether they use the same tickets I don't know, but if they do, No.45 won't be there as I still have it!

To be fair John,
MEU1’s are easier to get than the MEU 3 Permanent Residency., The MEU 1 yellow slip is a registration with Immigration and is for people who have lived here for less than 5 years. It can be issued while you are there.

Dee, when we got our ticket the guy behind the counter had no idea whether it was for MEU1 or 3. Most people in the queue were applying for MEU3 and they were in the inner office the same length of time as us. We were lucky today but are grateful to this site for warning us what it could be like so that we could get there early. There were agents there but it looked as if people had to wait their turns on the number system. At one point there was a long discussion between two agents and the man behind the counter.
