Immigration problems today ...

Just in case anyone was planning to go to Immigration over the next couple of days, we were told today that three of the four staff, who deal with Immigration problems and applications, are currently off work due to illness. There was much wailing and gnashing of teeth, but I have to say that - thanks to the good offices of Gwenny’s staff - we were whisked in and out and off for coffee.

Gwenny’s staff were told to wait for confirmation from Immigration before bringing further clients over the next few days.

To make matters worse, computers were crashing and the camera was reluctant to do its job. I did feel sorry for the staff there. I was also very grateful to the people who gave up their seats for my wife whilst we were waiting.
