Not only has Cyprus repaid the 4 billion Russian loan from 2013 (?) early, but it is also paying off it's other debts ahead of time. Well done Cyprus in general and the Finance Minister in particular. And yes, I know we're not completely out of the woods yet.
What I find weird is that when Cyprus was getting downgrade after downgrade at the time of the haircut, peeps used to relish posting the downgrade stories on CL and debate it endlessly. Now that Cyprus is on the up and up, it seems to create no interest at all.

It's why the papers are full of doom and gloom. People prefer reading about it. And then they like to moan that the papers are full of doom and gloom.
