Reading glases

Post by Uncle D »

Hi, does anybody know where I can buy some cheap reading glasses, they sell them in supermarkets in the UK, but not here.

I got cheap reading glasses from ELEAN Opticians(Sponsor for PL) at the sea front some years ago when I had still a small monitor...

Thanks max, but opticians tend to be a bit more expensive, I only need them for very small writing, its not worth buying an expensive pair for so little use.

We buy ours from the local kiosk and they are just the job ... about €4,00 a pair.

Very happy with my reading specs which cost €3 from the lady in the Duck pond whose stall is just along and opposite from the indoor cafe. Was asked if I had got them from Eye Contact as the frames (apparently) were very similar to some seen there!

I bought a pair in Superhomes last week. The cost €1.28 or thereabouts. They were displayed on the way out past the cash desks. Peatsie.
