The British government has launched the Get Ready for Brexit campaign, for those that use Facebook there is a short video here:
The message is that there are 4 things that Brits overseas should do:
1. Ensure they are correctly registered with the immigration authorities with either MEU1 or MEU3. Brown ARC books, stamps in passports & old Immigration Permits issued pre Cyprus joining the EU are obsolete.
2. Register for healthcare where applicable.
3. Ensure that their passport is valid for any future travel.
4. Exchange their UK driving license for a Cypriot one.
For those that don’t use Facebook, go direct to the link here: Get Ready For Brexit
In other news, British High Commission Consular staff will be at Party In The Park, Happy Valley, Episkopi in Limassol on Saturday 28th September between 10.30 and 16.00 to answer questions from UK residents about healthcare, residency and of course Brexit.

I note that they are now saying you need to have either an MEU1 or MEU3. Fortunately we both have Cypriot driving licences .

Unfortunately Trevor the HC has no more of an idea what is happening and what we may or may not require as no one (certainly the EU and the British Government) know what is going to happen and when and how!
Re: Get Ready For Brexit - Message from the High Commisioner
It has to be either or for MEU1 and 3 as not everyone has 5 plus years residency in order to apply for the 3.
