Last Night of the Proms

Post by Devil »

As usual, we had our fill of misplaced patriotism in a glorious ambiance of music.
'And did those Feet ... walk on England?' Utter poppycock!
'Wider ... shall thy bounds be set' Oh yeah?
'Send her victorious' In this day and age and over whom?

But it was great entertainment: loved it! However, i had a little hiccup when Britannia changed the Union Flag for the LGBTD banner.

.... and they were, and now the Country is paying dearly for it!
How has the UK widened its bounds since 1945 up to 2019? Oh! India (Pakistan), Malaya, Burma, Ceylon, Singapore, Rhodesia (Zimbabwe), Kenya, Nigeria and many more with the king's head on its postage stamps.

Blooming Hooligans, rather take my chances on the terraces of Millwall.
