There are several countries which end with each of the particular 3 letters.

Lofos-5 managed to guess 26 countries, but there are many more.

Keep trying everyone.

Ooo good point. Then we can also see how many people assign particular countries to particular letters. Switzerland vs England. That sort of thing.

There could even be a bar chart. :)

That’s why I said “anyone that ends in STAN” so which reference are you using for country names, for example I could give Swaziland but that is now called the Kingdom of eSwatini?

@ cyprusmax47 - 21. Bavaria

Bavaria is a state of Germany, rather than a country ( according to Wiki )

@ ApusApus - anyone that ends in STAN ( STAN is 4 letters & original post was "Name countries that end with these 3 letters."

Actually, with regards to STAN, you have crossed the line. Mind you, given that ApusApus also crossed that same line with his hopeless attempt at bypassing all the Stans, I think it doesn't matter. According to the unwritten phpBB forum admin rulebook, short-hand answers whereby a subset of answers are provided via an elongated suffix (clearly the case here) may be allowed provided they haven't been explicitly disallowed in the original question. So you are wrong. However, the rules only state that they "may be" allowed. In the unwritten glossary, it states that "may be" means "if the poster asked first". Clearly, ApusApus didn't ask first, so they are guilty of gross assumption, hence their position on the wrong side of the line, next to you.

@ MM.
Well spotted, that's why I added smilies. Also "grumpy" German's have a kind of humor which is unknown to many obviously.... By the way many Bavarians are thinking that they are living in their own country. (one of the reasons Cyprus is my country now..)

Funny that you should mention that - we were stuck for 4 weeks in a hotel In Oman as the Qatari immigration department issued my work permit/business visa for a Swazilandi national rather than a Swiss national... - it initially was quite funny but became a bit of a drag as Eid and other complications meant my kids were missing several weeks of their first terms at their new schools.

Alas - also the Swazilandi king suffered from similar 'mistaken identity' it seems;
