The Lion King

Post by jagwheels »

Asked daughter tonight if she wanted to see it. Ok dad but warning you when I first saw it with my son I cried all the way through so booked tickets for the first opening night on July 19th. I have seen many Disney films but not this one so my interest is in how animation has progressed but I might take a few extra tissues. Will report back if anyone is interested

First may I say we both enjoyed the film. The photography was stunning & the animation was mind blowing. Not sure how they rate films in Cyprus but it had a PG rating perhaps due to a couple of animal fighting scenes but they only lasted a short time & were not gory. Daughter hid her face during those. Yes I did take an extra tissue with me but was too embarrassed to use it. Turns out we both shed a tear or two and disguised it from each other but laughed about it later

Now the crunch question. Have any forum members seen it & if so what did they think, good or bad?

True words Dominic but a candle eventually burns out & I think I have trashed this topic to death so until another interesting film comes along ;)
