Brexit extended until October 31st

Post by Dominic »

The UK and the EU have agreed a "flexible extension" of Brexit until 31 October
European Council President Donald Tusk has urged the UK to "not waste this time" and said the extension could be terminated if a withdrawal deal is agreed
The PM said the UK would still aim to leave the EU as soon as possible
She is expected to make a statement in the Commons later
Talks between the government and Labour to try to find a way forward are continuing

So it appears, I now have no doubt at all that we never will leave.

There is going to be some delay, Jackie, but be sure that Brexit will happen in the fullness of time.
“Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned” wrote William Congreve. He couldn’t have forseen the fury that will be directed at the so-called “ruling classes” and their “elitist” flunkies in the media, come the elections. The English are slow to anger, but make no mistake, the betrayal and contempt shown by these wretches will be remembered for a long time. They will pay dearly for their lies!
In the meantime, get cracking on supporting the Brexit Party!

On March the 29th, I kicked my Brexit clock so hard that all the springs and gears flew out- followed by a cuckoo!!

Kingfisher, you and I both. I'm getting more angry by the day, and my M.P. knows about it ! My daughter is equally fuming.

We may well see a revolution over the betrayal of the people.

Hahaha, Jackie.... a revolution? Come-on..... people will jump and moan and some will wave flags and burn flags (the ones to subject to EU fire-safety regulations). Or if in the 6 counties, they will burn ‘flegs’, but only Irish ones....

Jackie, we’re English- we don’t do revolutions! At least, not the sort that could frighten the horses!
No. It’s the ballot box, and for my part, a vote for the Brexit Party. The others have earned themselves a damned good kicking, which they will get, come the elections. The next step should be working hard toward proportional representation- as a priority. Then set to work draining the swamp!
Keep the Faith!

ARGUMENTS BREXITERS NO LONGER MAKE:
£350m a week for NHS
Turkey about to join EU
Parliamentary sovereignty (MPs = traitors obvs)
Boost for economy
Global, prosperous Britain (now not likely for 50 years at least)

ONLY ARGUMENT THEY STILL MAKE:
Will of the people 3 years ago

HIC,
Neither the situation in the UK parliament, nor that, to a lesser degree in the EU bodes well for the future.
