Nigel Farage in Strasbourg

Post by Mrblobby »

This was on the 13th March .

He tells them “we don’t want to be governed by you , we want to govern ourselves “.

He starts at about 5.22

I thought Guy Verhofstadt made a lot of sense. Farage could easily stop attending EU sessions, but he wants to continue receiving the 80+ thousand a year salary from the EU. Odious man.

I’m warning you over the language, but this says more to me about this shambles called brexit, than anything. It sums up parliament, in my opinion, perfectly. It also sums up the opinion of the people generally.

He's talking nonsense though. The majority of the public now want to remain, in my opinion.

I think you are both right. The majority now want to remain, now that they have some facts before them, and also want it to be all over.

Probably deserves a thread by itself...but very interesting.

I thought this was a policy you supported as you have always been very critical of copyright theft over the years.

As for Farage, he's a Conman, Charlatan and a self publicist and he appears to have worked his magic on a few posters here.
He's on the EU Parliament Fisheries Committee and out of 42 meetings he's attended one, great support for British Fisherman. He makes his speeches and then immediately leaves so he can post them on Twitter and YouTube so his adoring supporters can see how great he is and people are taken in by this.
