Unilever - a One Off or The Shape Of Things To Come?

Unilever - a One Off or The Shape Of Things To Come?

Unilever don't have much faith in post-Brexit Britain. Personally I hope they will be the exception rather than the norm, but my head tells me differently.

I think you have a good head -- and other big firms could follow.

Funnily enough, the article you linked to has highlighted 3 companies that obviously have faith in post-Brexit Britain! :)

Shouldn't this last post be the subject of a separate thread? :?

But I thought HiC was one of TM's inner circle because he seems to know the outcome of Brexit negotiations before they happen? I must admit whenever I went into negotiations with a customer I never went in thinking I was stuffed ............. even if I thought they held "all the aces"! ;)

Simply, Unilever is a multinational company and multinational means that it has investments in many different countries. It is split its headquarters into two, up to now, but it is now housing its headquarters in just one. All its many hundreds of manufacturing plants and regional offices will remain status quo. End of story.
