Re: Lidl's cordless vacuum cleaner

That's the model that I bought several months ago which I am very pleased with.Has good suction, though not as powerful as my larger electrically operated cylinder one.It does a good job both on carpets and tiled floors. It is easy to operate and is both light and easy to manouvre. Mine also has a l...

Re: Lidl's cordless vacuum cleaner

Thanks, but I´m afraid that´s a different model. The sun article is about a silvercrest for GBP 50.-, whereas the one on offer at Lidl this week is a Bosch for €139.- (just realized now that it will only be available as of Saturday, so my question was a bit premature).

Interesting. What are people living close to the sea doing to disposal of wastewater? There, the groundwater level will often be much less than 30 feet deep.

Just out of curiosity: For how long can you leave Cyprus without your MEU3 getting void?

If the information in this post is correct, now already the 90/180 day rule doesn´t apply for UK property owners: http://easterncyprus.com/viewtopic.php?p=656154#656154

Re: Important: Receiving medicinal products from the UK in Cyprus?

I find it hard to believe that some medicine is not available in Cyprus. It's true, even for medicine on the official list of approved drugs. E.g. sumatriptan, a drug against migraines, should be available, but it isn't. Reason being (as a pharmacist explained to me when asked why) that the regulat...

Over the last year it hasn´t. The Swiss Franc rose from 0.93 to 1.03 to the Euro. See https://www.xe.com/currencyconverter/co ... CHF&To=EUR

Because I don´t want to end up with long covid. The risk for that is about 20% in my age group, and you can suffer from it even if you had an asymptomatic course.

From the article:
Health experts have clarified that the booster shots do not catch the Omicron sub-variants
Why not? Those have been approved by the EU 2 weeks ago already.

Re: ROC stopping UK Expats from North visiting.

I´m no expert but my understanding is that for non-EU citizens it depends on where you entered Cyprus. If you can prove that you entered via the South you´ll have no problem crossing back (unless you´re trying to cross back via a British base).

Re: Consumers warned over imminent dairy product price inflation

Do the alternatives taste like Milk, or Soya, Oat, Rice and Almond? The non-dairy coffee creamer tastes the same to me. But I may not be a gourmet. The rice and almond drinks I only use with chocolate powder and sweetener (I don´t drink plain milk either) and for me it´s close enough. My kids banne...
