We'd like to book a couple of nights away in October at a small hotel in the Protaras area, preferably somewhere where we can walk to the local eateries.
We're more comfortable with smaller hotels that provide B & B. Can anyone recommend a nice, friendly place, maybe family run?

MUKW3 - how to get an appointment
We're just starting this process. Can anyone tell me how to get an appointment - email, text, phone call, etc., along with contact details. This would be much appreciated.
Thanks
Thanks

We're just starting the process to apply for the laminated card.
How do you make the appointment with immigration? Phone, email, text message, or call in? If by phone, a contact number would be much appreciated.
Thanks

Re: Air Con Unit
Ours leaks occasionally and we don't know why, but we put it on jet mode for about 20 minutes and it appears to clear whatever is causing the problem. However, we resorted to doing this when we had been let down twice by a recommended air conditioning engineer. When it's cooler we'll find someone el...

Re: The truth about dairy products according to science...video
Thanks for posting this. For several years now I have been eating high fat dairy products, especially the plain Greek yoghurt. For a variety of health reasons I need to ensure that my calcium levels remain high. The downside is that my cholesterol is also high but I've chosen not to take statins. So...

ETIAS (Schengen)
Does anyone know if the MUKW3 biometric card covers you for trips to European countries or will we have to apply for an Etias (Schengen) visa when it becomes available? We have our MEU3 paperwork and will shortly be applying for the biometric card but someone has mentioned that we might also need to...

Is it really worth hosing the solar panels?
We have a 5 kw system on our roof which produces far more power than we'll probably ever use even if running at 70% efficiency. Several folk we've spoken to have suggested that we should have them hosed off regularly. Has anyone got advice to offer? Just for the record we don't have any bird poo on ...

Re: Induction Hob Part 2
I think we'll stick with our gas hob despite having solar panels recently fitted. It can still be used when you have a power cut and from what we've been told it's much easier to adjust the heat quickly.

Product to clean tiles in outside shower stalls
Our small complex has two outside shower stalls. After almost 20 years of use the floor tiles are looking very grubby despite regular cleaning. Can anyone recommend a product that will lift the ingrained dirt and grime to restore them to their almost original state? I know I can visit a variety of h...

Re: Travel Warning for Brits
Slightly off topic but my daughter and partner stayed at Alexander the Great recently and men weren't allowed to wear sandals into the restaurant although the women had no such restrictions. Are men's feet smellier than women's then??
