Re: Prepare now to pay the price of Brexit
Why complain about something you support and secondly why we keep asking is because there are no answers, try a search, you won't find any. Many of us won't shut up because we're not like some prepared to sit back and watch our homecountry destroyed on the strength of a fraudulent vote. Jim I suppo...

Lockdown may cost 200,000 lives, government report shows
This is taken from today's Telegraph. More than 200,000 people could die from the impact of lockdown and protecting the NHS, an official government report shows. As national restrictions were imposed, experts from the Department of Health, the Office of National Statistics (ONS), the government’s Ac...

Re: Prepare now to pay the price of Brexit
I wonder why people have to constantly ask the same question? Like a dog with a rotten bone. It matters not how many times it is repeated, the end result is still the same. I also believe those who voted for Brexit have made their reasons quite clear, many times. Well could you remind those of us u...

Re: Prepare now to pay the price of Brexit
Cummings was a master of the short phrases to lead people. “Get Brexit Done” and more. Trump does that as well. It appeals to the people who are too lazy, stupid, or disinterested in learning, as they can take a decision with little thought. Now that wasn’t all Brexiteers, but many simply followed ...

Re: Pillows ...
I bought mine from Rowan, he used to have a shop and now sells his cushions, pillows etc from a stall at Duckpond market. His items are decent quality and reasonably priced. Obviously he doesn't always stock pillows but it's worth a try.

Errmm...... the agreement hasn't been drawn up yet I'll answer your questions when it is. Even if I have to agree to your sarcastic and patronising comments I shall . Ok? But we'll see :) Oh the irony of someone who didn't even vote in the referendum asking people to justify the result. Laugh? I ne...

Re: Do you trully know If you are Racist . . .or not?
Continually defending that you are not racist reveals an element of guilt, otherwise why bother If I continuously called you a bigot or racist, or anything else derogatory for that matter would you defend yourself? Or stay silent and let people assume you are what I accuse you of? Perhaps that is w...

There is a college professor in the USA who lectures on racism and she is very interesting. I am trying to find a link to one of her speeches. Interesting and well educated lady.

Re: Coronavirus: August worst in decades for Paphos tourism
I wonder what those who are worst affected by the lack of British tourists think? Do they have the same attitude? It's easy for those who aren't reliant on tourism to put food on their table etc to say keep Brits out, but for those who are desperate for money, it's a different story I guess. A horri...

Re: UK could face second lockdown
The reason we are all doing very well here in Cyprus, is because everyone wore masks and gloves and adhered to lock down when this virus presented itself. No, everyone did not wear masks and gloves, and most did adhere to lockdown. Also, lockdown was compuIsory, masks for the general public weren't...

Re: UK could face second lockdown
So having read that fairly well balanced article I shall expect to see all those above who insist on wearing masks in shops to also wear a pair of swimming or motorcycle goggles. Now that made me laugh, thank you! Personally I don't wear a mask, I am careful when out but don't feel it warrant...
