My dog Max is very frightened of Thunder, and of course dogs can hear it before we can..
I spent quite a few hours yesterday on our bed, trying to keep him calm. Sadly it looks like it will be a repeat performance this afternoon

We did get rain and thunder here in Polemi. Sadly rain and thunder is forecast for later tomorrow as well

The thunder and lightning has now been removed from the forecast that i use.. Time will tell, it was supposed to be later this afternoon

Certainly there are Cameras installed at the major junction near Lidl

No pop-ups for me either and I am on Google Chrome

I too wondered what would happen especially in winter when you are in a prolonged traffic jam on the UK motorway network

Strangely I didn't find it too cold this morning. And certainly, now the sun is up in an almost cloudless blue sky it is very pleasant out

It is a nice sunny morning with hardly any wind and very few clouds. But here in Polemi the sun was out at 6-15..

Thanks for all the suggestions.. I drove past Partymania and all the way down to the card shop close to the entrance of Elpis Medical Centre. What a great card shop it is and very large with a really good choice of cards. So I am all fixed up now, I just have to write them and take them to the Post ...

I was tempted to put the heating on for a short while this morning.
But then I thought if I needed to be warmer I could put a pullover on.
But I decided when the sun came out that I would save the winter clothes for weather that will get cooler still
