Re: Delicious dessert Lidl's Italien week...

We're on Moroccan, Turkish and Middle Eastern offers here in UK. We came home today with Harissa, Tahini, Efes, Falafel and Kofta - amongst numerous other stuff that we haven't tried before. Plus a bottle of champagne to toast my Sister-in-Law and her hubby who are due to arrive very shortly to coll...

Re: Battle of the sun beds

Ah, but I've seen this with my very own eyes, Max.... The most memorable moment being at a hotel in Lanzarote where the management got so fed up of the sunbed wars that they started to stack them away every night and chain them up - not unlocking them until after breakfast. The British holidaymakers...

An old article from 2014 but it certainly matches our holiday experiences of the worst sunbed reservists - and it wasn't the Germans!

Re: Exterior Insulation Cladding

One of my colleagues had the exterior cladding fitted to her Limassol property 3 years ago by a company based in Paphos.

I got the impression it may have been British guys who she dealt with and it cost around €10k for a 3 bedroom 2 storey house.

Re: Finsbury Park: Several people hurt after vehicle hits pedestrians

They're referring to it as a terrorist incident but also indicated hate crime against Muslims have increased after the recent attacks with the exception of the Westminster incident. The very fact this took place outside a mosque as prayers ended knowing people were leaving speaks volumes. The terror...

Re: For the aircraft enthusiasts out there...

Today was another late afternoon tide so the beach had a few more happy landings and more sky activity. We didn't get up to the jetty until after 6pm this evening as we're very busy with the side yard and front garden makeover. Spent the morning spray painting the wrought iron archway, digging out t...

Ah, great to see it and pleased to hear you're enjoying the new location 😊 There's no problem accessing Ladies Mile from the direction you are currently taking so no need to worry. We've used it countless times. We ended up stuck approaching from a different way and following a detour but thinking w...

Did anyone watch it? It was an altogether excellent and very watchable programme used to highlight the issues of men avoiding the necessity of prostate and testicular cancer checks. Re: Cyprus Mail Proof Readers need shooting!

Maybe they don't have proofreaders and it's the writer who checks it over before it goes to press. In which case, the writer already knows what it's supposed to say so reads what should be there rather than the reality.

I bet Dr Dre didn't miss that tenner very much ;-)
