Re: Gesy re S1 holders

A lot of fabrication here from all sides of the coin. None of us seems to know the answer. So like many other pensioners, we are sitting on the fence and watching. Must say it would be nice if the UK Govt did continue to pay the costs for us.

Clever little blighter.

A joke to share.... I was having trouble with my computer. So I called David, the 11 year old next door whose bedroom looks like Mission Control, and asked him to come over. David clicked a couple of buttons and solved the problem. As he was walking away, I called after him, "So, what was wrong...

Re: The Good, the Bad and the Ugly - Danish Philharmonic

As a young chap (years ago) there were so many people who played the Harmonica. I never see anyone playing them now. So this at least brought back some old memories.

Lost Driving Licence

When I lost my driving Licence, I did the usual things. Reported loss to police etc etc. I then took reports to the Citizens centre who kindly gave me a temporary licence. This expires tomorrow. I went to the citizens centre to ask for my NEW licence. By the way even as a pensioner in my 70's I had ...

Latest on the Ferry plan to Greece

Taken from another Forum. So, as the news announced a number of months ago the possibility of a ferry service to Greece to/from Cyprus. The response on this forum certainly indicated that this was a favourable facility, certainly from my perspective... So I wrote to the Ministry and asked for an upd...

Nothing that you can do in my opinion. It is nature at it's worst. I would of course be great if there is a way to stop the naughty sparrows.

Yes we also have some remainers. They appear to have settled into all the wild flowers in front of us. So it is still a pleasure to watch them and also the Swallows.

It is Happening Again

There are 100,000, 000's of butterflies passing our apartment. This has been going on for the last two ++ hours. All heading West. Lovely to watch :D This must be the second wave as we had them a couple of weeks ago.

This is one from last year. We do get a lot of bees resting on our balcony as well. At the moment we have a lot of ladybirds.

We always use the Blue Cross clinic for blood tests. Dr Silvie is a gentle caring person and we are in and out within minutes. The results are emailed to us and very easy to read and understand
