Re: Best airport parking
Totally agree. Airport parking is easy to book online, competitively priced and so convenient. I even extended a stay online once when a return flight was cancelled and I was late back.

My wife had a very similar email purporting to be from DHL.
Needless to say the package was delivered and nothing had been paid.

Re: Aphrodite's Rock Road Repairs
I'm intrigued by the white (?) excavator that seems to be sat at a level quite a lot below the road surface.
How far down are they taking the excavation? Surely if there had been movement that far down then the whole road construction would have gone with it.

The biggest problem with the Cyprus Mail site at the moment is that it doesn't seem to be updated very often.

Re: Clearing Agent
There is a clearing agent towrads the back of the customs office in Paphos. Down the street (Apriliou1?) at the side that you use to access the car park at the rear. Drive past the car park entrance and it is further along on the left.
Sorry, can't remember the name.

I have bought mesh from Paphos Home Market in the past. Can't remember the size but it was on a roll and I bought about 2m of it, enough to do one of a pair of sliding patio doors.

Re: Electric cars
Nobody seems to have mentioned that if you use the PV to charge a car then the electricity that would have been used in your house has to come from somewhere else. The end result is that much more electricity has to be generated by EAC.

Yep, same here.
We had the planning drawings and all sorts of other papers but not the permit. Got a copy from the district office described above after they passed it in the file a few times until I recognised the shape of the plot!

Customs duty anywhere is always based on what customs think is the value. If you have a proper invoice they will usually accept it but if you have a "cheap" invoice they will probably dismiss it. They get their valuation usually by looking online, the same as the rest of us.

Your vaccination appointment for the General states whether it is room "A" or "B".

I also believe that if you have an MEU1 then you can still change it to an MEU3 after the appropriate period and the correct documents, even if that is after 31 December 2020.

As somebody who is clearly au fait with online stuff, why not just book your apointment through the GESY website? I accessed the it yesterday morning and despite being bounced out a few times and having to log back in I had my appointment and was off the site by 09.15. I think the knack is not to go...

Can't recall the details but there is a system for people not in GESY to register for a jab. A particular form to be completed and submitted.
