Re: Cliff Richard in court

As I see it, if found innocent of accusations, then yes the accuser/s should be named.

Re: Cliff Richard in court

I should have thought that he would have been awarded his court fees too, maybe I'm wrong.

Lloyd

I am quite frankly totally sick of all the doom and gloom, which at present is pure conjecture. More subdued ? Not likely, personally I just fail to see the point of discussing a subject which we cannot, and never will agree on.

I too am glad that he won. I would like to think that Cliff would donate his award to charity, after all he doesn't need it, and it would be a very generous act.

Re: Giant Sadiq Khan 'baby balloon to fly over London

How sad that they can raise £55000 for such a stupid thing, what a waste of money, some people obviously have too much.

I have just read your story, and thank you for posting it. So sad about your father, it can't have helped your situation.

Just so.

The trouble with common sense is that it's not so common.

Re: Just another week in British politics ....

Mrs May is a remainer, she will be happy to get back in bed with the EU, even though she knows that this isn't what the electorate voted for. She alone has far too much say, the Brexiteers who might have given us what we voted for have gone. She has to go.

Oh Dominic, please, do you know a poor one ? Even with the fat salaries they have, they still fiddle their expenses and get away with it because they 'made a mistake', if it was you or I, we would be behind bars.

Surely this is an offence, what if a small child is poisoned ? The police should take action.

Re: Man caught driving with toddler on his lap

As I see it, one major problem is that everyone in Cyprus is related in some way, or a friend of a police officer, or his family. In Britain that wouldn't make any difference, but in Cyprus sadly it does.
