Re: Account of having the Covid vaccination at Paphos Hospital

Sadie, I sympathise with you and I think that there are genuine people like you, who have valid reasons for not taking or waiting to see, before taking the vaccine. The deaths in Norway appear to be down to very frail people being given the vaccine. The same result of a flu vaccine bing given to som...

The AZn vaccine is half-dose then full dose

The EU holdup, compared to UK, is because the UK agreed to NOT have any clauses where the pharma is held accountable. The EU have been negotiating the opposite, so more expensive than UK paid, but longer-term perhaps safer.

As the one who started the Tammy, by calling you a name, I apologise to the other forum members for reducing it that way. However, I am pretty convinced said poster is someone who was one here before and caused problems with constant sniping, however, even if I’m wrong, he does set himself up. I agr...

Re: Cyprus seeks Israel Vaccine help

Palestine are going to use the Sputnik vaccine, as Israel refuses to give them any or support them with the Pfizer vaccine. The reason I was asking about the Oxford development, is that the BBC documentary last month, had an Irish Professor, who along with I think 2 colleagues, had developed their v...

Saw an interesting interview with one of the scientists that developed the Oxford Vaccine on the One Show the other day. She was excellent and explained the process brilliantly. She took viewers questions and set a few minds at rest I would think.

Re: Cyprus seeks Israel Vaccine help

Israel's rapid rollout is because of support from Pfizer, to access data on the vaccine post vaccination. So far, it is proving effective at stopping people who have been vaccinated, from passing the virus to other people - so better than ever expected. If AZN and Moderna also have that effect, then...

Re: Cyprus seeks Israel Vaccine help

The current situation regarding shortage of vaccine is is reported to be a direct result of the EU deciding to order vaccine for 27 member countries which has gone horribly wrong. In this result the UK was fortunate to have left the EU when it did. Net result that it seems that the UK is awash with...

Scottish fish and shellfish is what’s used all over the Mediterranean. Th Spanish, French and many others will suffer because of the problems, but methinks not enough to change anything
