Don't think there's a lot of doubt about that given the number of Cypriots in the UK!

Re: Legal advice - communal property

There is a very competent property lawyer, Louise Zambartas, based in Limassol. There is also a guy who runs seminars etc and has written a book, The Ultimate Committee Handbook which is a mine of information. I will dig out contact info but google is your friend, they are reputable people and well ...

Depends how old he is. If he's just reached 70 then he has to go to the transport department just before the basket roundabout on the Polis road. If hes turned 70 then he can do it through the citizens information, think the one at the post office is best, but the form is in Greek and the lady at th...

Re: Pedestal Fans

Max are you talking about the Dyson type fans?? I am interested in one as I find the noise of my upright fan quite distracting.
Ahh, just looked at your final statement, suspect it's something stronger ;)

Re: Halloumi burgers added to Burger King menus in the UK

Evaporated perhaps??? Still not something I could take in my morning cuppa! But given that's just about the only milk I have I guess I can tolerate whatever may be in it! But will definitely look for Greek yoghurt rather than Cypriot.

Re: Halloumi burgers added to Burger King menus in the UK

I'll certainly check specifically for Greek yoghurt now, but not sure what you mean by condensed milk?? The condensed milk I know relates back to post war which I had as a child and is very sweet and not something I could use in place of cows milk. Suspect we may not be talking about the same thing?

I'm pretty sure they will Max, but was quite surprised at your comment re milk and yoghurt. So what milk and yoghurt do you use?? Can't say I've ever given it a thought but it bears consideration.

Re: Campaign to promote Paphos as domestic tourism destination

I'm another who will miss Flossie, she was a mine of information on Cyprus in general and Paphos in particular.
Have to admit myself that I get fed up of some of the know-alls and fools who contribute sometimes, that's public forums I'm afraid.

Whilst I cannot deny that there is a huge opportunity to make money in veterinary care, I have to say that in all the programmes I have watched concerning Noel Fitzpatrick I have never felt that money was his overriding concern. His care for the animals is beyond the pale. If you have any evidence t...

"Noel is I believe a vet that you have to be 'referred to' by another vet .. The name of his practice is 'Fitzpatrick Referrals'"

Hope you can see the quote marks Trev!

I didn't realise that it was a referral clinic. Whatever, he is a great and caring man.

Re: Noel Fitzpatrick

I remember seeing that one V, he's amazing. Wasnt that the one where the owner had been to his own vet who had just patched it up and sent him to Noel? The lengths he goes to to save animals is incredible.
