Re: Anyone NOT having the vaccine?
Entirely up to the individual and not something that needs to be justified either way and neither side should take the moral high ground over those who think differently.

Thank you for the detailed list of information required in order to obtain a Cyprus EHIC - always best if someone who has actually carried out something like this recently can share. Re: Tourists will not need to send SMSs - Update 3 More Clarification
I think the emphasis should be more on physical distancing and proper face mask wearing (in selected places) rather than limiting movements as these are things people can adapt to long term rather than keep being told how many times they can leave their abode which changes from month to month. Howev...

Just as with other announcements, the original has been updated - this is the link to Update 3 'Director General of Cyprus Hotel Association (Pasyxe) Philokypros Roussounides clarified later in the day that the form will be given only in cases where tourists are unable to send an SMS, but they too w...

Re: Tourists will not need to send SMSs
Why have movement permissions at all?
There cannot be one rule for visitors and another for residents.

Re: S1 Form holder in Cyprus - EHIC still valid.
Thank you to all who contributed. Not that foreign travel is on our immediate plans, but clearly it would make sense for me to contact our GP with regard to getting Cyprus-issued EHICs, even though some say they tried and weren't successful. The Citizens Service Centre processes the application for...

Re: S1 Form holder in Cyprus - EHIC still valid.
OMG, I'm more confused than ever now, with seemingly conflicting advice  My NHS EHIC card is technically valid until July 2023. Does it remain so, or is that now invalid because of Brexit? If it is still valid, than I can delay doing anything until nearer the time. I do also have an E121. Hi...

Re: Tourists as of today 4th April 2021
On FB I have often said I don't mind having to have permission to go out as it does make people think twice as to whether the outing is necessary, but there should just a record of the time I leave - no need for all these different categories which are just for the number crunchers especially as man...

Agree the rules must apply to residents and tourists.
Also noticed one Paphos hotel is promoting Easter breaks (https://www.stgeorge-hotel.com/special- ... ackages205) so maybe residents will soon be able to have a staycation?

Re: S1 Form holder in Cyprus - EHIC still valid.
Not a direct answer but we were issued with a new EHIC card January 2020 which was valid for 5 years. However, towards the end of 2020 there were some articles stating that S1 form holders must apply for a new EHIC. This we did and duly received our new EHIC cards a few weeks later. ''Who can use a ...

His mobile number is: 99927868. I would give him a phone call first. From recent experience making arrangements to see three different Specialist Doctors I have found they make their own appointments. His mobile number is listed on the GESY website but I didn't want to give it in my initial post in ...

Re: Post-Brexit British nationals in Cyprus to also be able to vote in municipal elections
I remember voting about 14 years ago, having been told that as I had registered to vote I would incur a fine if I didn't. Just outside the school where the voting was taking place I was approached by a number of men saying vote for me and telling me which box to tick. As with many other Cypriot even...
