Was speaking to my neighbour again this morning.
Turns out it's not a MAG box they have it's one of those streaming boxes, probably best described as a Kodi box.

Re: British TV reception this afternoon
On a similar subject. I was talking to a friend who is out there at the moment, first time in three years due to Covid and other health issues. She was complaining her MAG box wasn't working, I'd said it probably just needed updating by Premier Electrical due the length of time it's been lying unuse...

Re: Heart in mouth
A couple of years before the incident I posted above, two colleagues were also killed by a drunk driver who took the wrong turning. The two boys were in an armoured, reinforced, firearms vehicle and ended up trapped and burned to death.
Horrible.

Re: Heart in mouth
Hope not, a friend of mines sister was killed in exactly those circumstances. Also, I was on the M8 heading out of Glasgow about 2:30am having worked a twelve hour shift, the road was dead when I realised that there was a car traveling at high speed towards me on the same side of the road. There was...

Transfer of vehicle ownership
Hi looking for some advice.
I was looking to buy a car in Cyprus.
I have found one belonging to a friend of a friend and agreed on a price etc.
Can anyone advise on the simplest way to transfer ownership, the current owner and I are both in the UK.

No points as far as I can see on the form, but I picked up two points and a hundred euro fine when I parked on the opposite side of the road, in a parking bay with money put in the meter. Wow, I didnt realise you could get a fine for that, I will have to stop doing that pronto :( Yep, I didn't know...

Looking for car sales recommendations
Morning all Now that we are almost fully retired we hope to be spending more time at our apartment and hoping to buy a small car. Can anyone recommend a reputable car dealer? Given that we wouldn't be in Cyprus full time I'm not looking to spend a lot and realise that what I am looking to spend, I'd...

No just in Cyprus, my wife and I attended a wedding in a local hotel at the weekend. I was driving and only therefore drunk soft drinks, £2.50 for a standard can of Irn Bru. Yesterday I was in B&M and SIX cans of the same thing was £2.25. is it any wonder people smuggle their drinks into wedding...

If it's not damaged and just dirty you can take the cover off and wash on the machine.
I did ours last year and it came up fine.

There is a place in the mall car park.
There's also a place on Agapinor Street on the right hand side as you turn left at Elpis Health Centre.

Can't speak for Polis area I'm afraid, the Moorings on Posidonous Avenue (the main road along the seaside) in Paphos has a large enclosed play area and the food is relatively good. There are also a couple of beach bar type places between Coral Bay and the Sea Caves which have play areas, I've only e...
