Re: Nick Names

I've been called Dibble for years. Others I worked with were The Blister, because he turned up when the work was done Pifco, because he was always playing with his torch. The best of the lot was reserved for a guy who was heavily into Wild West reenactment. He had a turn in his eye and was therefore...

Yeah, a friend of mine stays opposite the hire place. Says it's not too bad in general but the guy is continuously beeping the horns to attract passers by and it's becoming a pain

Re: Electric scooters in heart of Paphos endanger locals and visitors alike

I walked down the "Pambis Road" last night, I counted eight boys, all clearly under sixteen, on the electronic three wheeler bikes. They were spread across the width of the road and refused to move for vehicles travelling towards them and from behind. Surely there must be an age limit for ...

Off topic I know, but this report brought it back to my mind.

Re: Scottish independence

Many English arrogantly substitute England for United Kingdom whilst being totally ignorant of the geography, history, and politics of the other countries of the Union That's true, I'm often asked things like, "so what do you do back in England ?" When on holiday. Almost as bad as "o...

Re: Scottish independence

Personally I would be sad if the Union broke up. I don't think there should be another referendum though, because I seem to remember all sides agreeing that is should be a once-in-a-generation thing. What happens if they lose again? That's the thing, she's treating it like kids in the playground, b...
