Re: Paphos Sea Front

Made me think of living somewhere fairly close to the start of your video tour, actually.
Imagine the mental health of strolling along that road each morning...

Re: Paphos Sea Front

Signs / rules : I've been to 1 or 2 countries in my life;
rules are culture-variant. Nice to know you can take a nice stroll along this route

Re: Paphos Sea Front

Terrific, Dominic. Saw no bicycles (I think). Are they allowed, or only pedestrians?

English nursery schools in Paphos

Hi everyone, Any recommendations for decent nursery schools (English as main language) in Paphos? Our daughter will enter as a 3 year old. The idea is to get her English comprehension to a level that she can join a private school later (ISOP, Aspire etc.) We contacted Rosa Montessori School in Pano ...

Thanks, Flossie.
Me too -- love roaming in the countryside,
finding some great rustic place with a view of the hills

Re: Resturant Rip offs

I'm visiting for the first time in November.
I've read that Sykaminia Cafe is good. Wonder if there are others not discovered by Lonely Planet/ Trip Advisor...yet

Re: please recommend a moving company : port to apartment

Thanks very much for the advice, gentlemen.

Today I had a meeting w/ the shipping agent here in Tokyo;
I'll clarify if they can get the stuff to Paphos by sea, or as you suggest, it'll be Limassol port,
then a land transfer to Paphos.

Really appreciate the quick responses, too. Many thanks.

please recommend a moving company : port to apartment

Hi everyone, In the near future, I'll be moving personal effects by sea from Japan to Paphos port. Can anyone recommend a fairly-priced, reliable moving company in Paphos that can pick up the boxes from Paphos port and deliver them to our rented apartment, which will probably be in Pano Paphos. Any ...

Re: Schools` exam results

Thanks for the input, everyone.
Reading between the lines, it seems there is no standout state school in Paphos,
else there would have been quick unanimity

Re: Schools` exam results

Sure.
We have one daughter.
I'm visiting Paphos this Nov. (schools, banks, tax etc.),
and if things pan out, we'll be looking at coming over April 2020,
by which time she'll be 3.

No, they don't.
It's good to get both sides of the coin from Smudger and WHL.
Thank you, gentlemen, and other posters who've chimed in.

Re: Schools` exam results

This was my question, actually: if there happens to be a great state school in Paphos that can deliver the goods
(academic and holistic)...but perhaps it`s wishful thinking; but certainly worth checking for a newbie like myself.
Obviously, in many countries, the privates do outperform
