Hello Again Lloyd
I have been successful with my donation this time and it has gone and the bank have confirmed this in a text so hopefully it is now where it should be. Sorry for the trouble. Have also sent you a second PM to confirm this.
Best wishes
Rita

Lloyd Thank you so much for the information. i did wonder if winter schedules made a difference. However I did find a flight to Stansted for the 17th December and a return on 7th January but no fare details for business class just economy so possibly that is all they are doing for that period. Only ...

Re: New tax laws re: government sourced pensions.
Austin7 Your point re paying twice on pension income which is a public service pension is not strictly accurate although it would appear so. The UK will tax any public service pension in accordance with the scales used by that Government minus any personal allowance entitlement. A resident of Cyprus...

Re: How long are you going to live?
Well I had a go and according to the stats I will live to 92 in Cyprus, likewise if I lived in the UK, 94 if I move to Singapore and 89 if I move to Palestine. My mother lived to 97 and as I am now 86 I only have 6 more years and already live each day as if its the last I think I may have to conside...

Re: Anyone see the Panorama programme last night?
Lloyd and tyelaw47 You may recall that Nick Robinson was away from the BBC news not so long ago suffering from cancer of the throat and could hardly speak hence the leave of absence. Do you think possibly that is why he does not wear a tie i.e. the neck is still painful? Otherwise I agree with your ...

Re: Bohemian Rhapsody Commercial
I'm always blown away by Bohemia Rhapsody -it was thought it would never be a hit because it was considered too long but it has consistently been No.1 of the all time greats. Lloyd the John Lewis Christmas advert this year is to be performed by Elton John, filming has already started and the approxi...
