Re: Outdoor gate - soft/slow closer

Anyway :D

Back on topic ...

The gate from the communal car park to the communal pool bangs shut when people go through it and sometimes in the wind.

We are looking for someone to supply and fit some sort of 'soft closer' to it.

Any suggestions?

Re: A big ask - info on car hire in UK without a UK debit/credit card

Thanks! They've now booked a car with Indigo from Manchester airport on a one way trip to sunny Knott End on Sea :-) Rather off topic but about ten years ago when I gave up my job, we went to CY on a one way ticket, thinking it would be easy to get back when we wanted. Bearing in mind that we live ...

Re: Pafos Mayor's concern about unlawful beds

One of the problems in Cyprus is the very low VAT threshold. Holiday lets (unlike long term rentals) are a Vatable supply. A significant number of holiday property owners - especially villa owners - will exceed the threshold of 15,600 and will need to register for VAT. 15½K income that's €300 every...

We have used Netcom for the last few years and they seem to 'do what they say on the tin' - switch on/off when we want to visit.

Re: Car sales recommendations.

We imported our car from the UK, but used ANW http://www.anwcars.com/ as our agent, and to sell our old banger.

We found them to be very professional in everything they did for us.

Re: Winter let

Just think of it that you are looking for a 'holiday let' and look at those sort of sites. Ownersdirect? Holiday Lettings? Find a few that you fancy and send them a message asking for what you want. Many will be glad of a booking over the winter. We certainly would but don't really have what you are...

Sometimes that makes a difference.
My PC was on UK time last night, but I changed it to CY today and ITV still works! :? :?

I'm logged in - does that make a difference??

'Enable VPN' in settings is 'ON'

Morning all

Thanks all for advice.

I tried it with Epic Privacy Browser - set my location to UK and all was good ... for a short while, but then 'flash player' kept crashing.
I opened up Opera Browser and logged into ITV and away to go without problems. :D :D

We have replaced units in both our properties last year.

We used CMC both times, once with a Daewoo and then a pair of Pitsos

Our tenants, who are very house proud, commented that they had done a very tidy and professional job.
