The Cyprus driving licence IS acceptable to hire a car in the UK. I did it.

It would appear from previous comments that the Dr in the Gen Hosp. is the one that only signs for 1 year. Our private GP is always for 3 years as long as we are ably fit to drive.

Sand paper it all clean first. Then prime it with the correct Concrete Primer. Then undercoat. Then two coats of outdoor emulsion. Jobs a gud en.

Like WHL says yes it is not illegal. You can stop to change a wheel. We also have super bright Florescent jackets, triangle, torches plastic sheets (rain), tow rope and first aid kit. Evidently it is the law to have all these items in the car apart from the tow rope and plastic sheet.
