No, it's the one at the opposite end of TOTK on the way to Coral Bay.

Re: Looks Like Things Are Not Going Too Well In Turkey!

I was thinking short term! Erdogan is volatile and unpredictable at the best of times, if things worsen for him then he may go further than just raising the rhetoric and Cyprus is one of his favourites for stirring nationalistic fervour? Regarding the longer term, i.e., after the elections, as you s...

Looks Like Things Are Not Going Too Well In Turkey!

I have read a few reports lately on the problems facing Erdogan in Turkey, this one seems to sum up the situation pretty well! https://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-47719368

Probably, not the best situation from a Cyprus point of view?

No, on 2 accounts! Firstly, there isn't going to be a second referendum and secondly the remainers won't put up and shut up anyway!

Maybe it's just a logical extension to dashcams but as Devil says, those of us in Cyprus won't have to worry about it for quite a while yet!

Unfortunately, average rainfall is decreasing in Cyprus and water demand is increasing, just like many other areas in the world.

You really have to get a life otherwise your obsession will consume you! Shane Haha. Pot and kettle. Your post count is predicated on criticism. I happen to consider brexit the most serious change for the UK in centuries. Certainly as a peacetime change. If I post on it, it’s because many others co...

Nobody said our system was good but if you are so unhappy with it then maybe you should start a petition to try and change it! ;)

Re: Petition to revoke Article 50 ...

Ok! But my point remains, the vast majority of UK citizens that chose to live abroad did so knowing they would lose their voting rights at some point in the future …………………… it wasn't an issue then so why should it be one now?

Over18 million were denied a vote. U.K. citizens living in an EU country for more than 15 years even though the result would affect them. Re: Petition to revoke Article 50 ...

Most EU countries have some form of proportional representation, not the stupid "first past the post" system in the UK. PR is more democratic because it allows for wider views to be heard. To take a hypothetical example: Joe Bloggs 20,000 John Smith 17,000 Jim Brown 15,000 Joe Bloggs woul...

Re: Painted Lady Butterflies

The Painted Lady butterfly is common throughout Cyprus and has been recorded in every week of the year. Normally, only relatively small quantities are observed but very occasionally huge migrations occur like this one. In 2001, one of the last big migrations happened and it was estimated that 40+ mi...
