I thought the whole purpose of the UK traffic light system was to manage the possibility of new variants coming into the country.

I’m not aware of any ‘new’ variants here

I’m double vaccinated and flew in yesterday from the UK. Have to say the process was very smooth Flight was approx two thirds full. Easy to upload details for Cyprus Flight Pass and permission was received back swiftly. At Paphos airport I had to show passport and Pass before entering terminal build...

The title of this thread states that 12 double vaccinated people died from the Indian variant but the quoted title of the Yahoo news article states that they died with the Indian variant??

Could it be that that there has been a disproportionate loss of lower paid jobs and this would explain the fact that average earnings per employee have risen?

When I brought a car over a few years ago the only thing I left in it was a teach yourself Greek tape in the cassette player.
It wasn’t there when I picked the car up.

And whenever I’ve watched the BBC news they always state deaths within 28 days of a positive covid test but I’ve never heard the newsreader say ‘for any reason’ even though it is written on the graphic they use.
