Re: TV recommendation
Love the Jack Reacher novels. We're searching for this on IMDB. Can you let us know who's the lead actor? Thanks

Re: The Asprokremmos Reservoir Is Filling Up!
We popped up there yesterday and saw the food stalls. There were a few cars there but due to the rain not many people walking around. I think this next weekend will be busier when, hopefully, the reservoir will be full and overflowing.

Front door stockists in Paphos
We're considering replacing our front door and wonder if there are outlets in Paphos that stock a range of UPVC and aluminium front doors so that we can pop along and make our choice. Would also be interested in getting advice from anyone who has recently had a a new front door fitted, i.e. recommen...

Re: Devil's post, we didn't realise that EAC require you to get written permission from any other householder on the same plot of land. Has anyone else experienced this as we are on a small complex. We have friends who have installed this system and never mentioned this requirement. If this is the c...

Great news indeed. Perhaps we will see the ice cream and food vans there again. There was a lady selling hot koupes last time, the best we have eaten, IMHO

We usually see them but not this year. The Cyprus robins that we've seen are grey breasted rather than the red breasted ones in the UK.

Re: TV recomendation
These posts for TV recommendations are great. We've found several good series, thanks.
For several years now we've been watching - Chicago Fire, Chicago PD and Chicago Med. Also Law and Order SVU. For those who like hospital dramas there's New Amsterdam, The Resident, The Good Doctor.

Re: Plumber/drainage specialist - help please
After about 10 years in our property we noticed periodic smells from the septic tanks at the back of the house. Also that one dwarf sized palm tree appeared to be growing much faster than its twin! Eventually the smell entered the house and the sewage backed up into the shower room and bathroom. We ...

We've been watching Inspector George Gently over the last couple of weeks. Martin Shaw and Lee Ingleby are very good together. Lots of episodes but each one is like a mini movie. Good entertainment.....

Re: Benjamin Moore Paint
We first used Benjamin Moore Elastomeric on the outside of our bungalow (3 coats) about 14 years ago and were amazed at how waterproof it made the walls. We gave it a second coat (on recommendation) two years later. Worth every penny!

We do the same too, either pass it to someone, or leave it on the pay terminal. I think a lot of people do this now and it's a nice feeling to be able to give and receive.

I can't help with advice Dee but hope that everything is OK for you from now on. For us this is the coldest run-up to Christmas since we moved here 17 years ago. All our heating goes on from mid-afternoon until we go to bed.

Re: Air Con Heating Experiment.
We read a similar post on FB about this a few days ago. We use our LG aircon units fitted by Green Air for heating and they are very economical. We don't have net metering but, nonetheless, our heating bills are much lower than before we had them installed. We run ours in a low fan setting and after...

Our solicitor said it was perfectly OK not to lodge our Will with the Court. We have the originals and she has a copy.

Re: Using a solicitor as an executor of a will.
Jeba, can't answer your question as it's really one for your lawyer but the Blevin Franks article (above) touches upon this subject.
