In 2021, China began building 33 gigawatts of coal-based power generation, according to the Helsinki-based Center for Resea...

Re: Ex-pat UK Banks to shut Brit accounts due to EU red tape

We got an email from RBS last October to say that they were changing their Debit Card from Visa to MasterCard. So far we have heard nothing else nor have we received our new cards, I am reluctant to stir the pot and our old Debit cards still seem to work. We have no address in the UK but we do have ...

A quick look om Google Earth would seem to indicate that the work will be on the road on the left, past the General, up to Anavargos Village. None of the Main Roads would be affected.

We've used Currency Fair for years and until Easter they were fine and the Transfer was coming in the same day . Re: Taxisnet T.I.C. number

Thank you both I had emailed them and they did get back quite quickly. Tuppence is correct you have to remove the T.I.C. number but you also have to change the category from 1 to either 2 or 8.

Taxisnet T.I.C. number

Have been filling in our Tax Forms on Taxisnet. It tells me that our T.I.C numbers are not correct. These are the numbers we have used for years and , in fact, they put them in the return. Has anyone else had this problem? As usual the various Tax people are not answering their phones.

Re: Shocking standards of Journalism

The figures don't actually mean anything unless you know how many teenagers there are aged 14 to 18. 1 in 5 of an unknown number is also an unknown number as is any percentage of an unknown number. I must agree that the standard of Journalism today, worldwide, is abysmal.

The Scottish Sun, that well known newspaper of unbiased comment, has just conducted a poll.
