Re: Episkopi Rocks!

Yes I did mean Pitargou, I think the farmer keeps his goats in the abandoned cottages there. He came out as we drove past but we didn't stop fortunately.

Re: Episkopi Rocks!

We drove down that route yesterday, trying to get a long wheelbase 4x4 through Episkopi isn't the easiest task but good fun. We went to the reservoir through Nata to try and get to the the deserted village which we did though part of the old track had been washed away and wasn't suitable for cars. S...

CYWALL
When my wife applied for Citizenship she only had an MU2 which is the equivalent to the MU1 for non EU Citizens so if she was able to do it everyone should be able to.

Re: Sausages

Back in the day I had the misfortune to go around a manufacturer of pies and sausages in London, you wouldn't believe the crap meat that, was being shoveled in the machine at one end, then hay presto, someone added a nice pink powder , and the meat came out lovely and fresh looking, never ate a bou...

Re: Yesterday’s UK death rate (as reported, not ONS) showed it was higher than all 27 EU states combined!

I do not think that you can rely on any of these figures. There are lots of people who are reporting deaths in their families from all manner of conditions and when it comes to the Death Certs, they are nearly all mentioning Covid 19, which in the majority of those cases mentioned was totally untru...

Re: MEU3

You have to be resident in Cyprus for seven years to apply for a Cypriot passport. Cyprus and the UK allow dual citizenship, other countries don't.
Also you have to stay in country for one year before application.

Re: Paphos: Eight arrested for disturbing the peace

Dee is correct, the police have used CV19 to check on registration of foreigners and a large number who were in country illegally have been arrested. British citizens will become TCNs on the 1st January will be liable for arrest if they do not have the correct documentation.

Perhaps we could have some sort of vote on Johnson, oh wait, we already have and a vast majority voted for him and his party to govern the country. Isn't democracy wonderful! Alan So what you're suggesting is because Johnson and his inner circle won a majority of seats (not a majority of votes by t...

Thank you, also to get residency is it enough to get your application in by the end of year, do you need to be on the island while it's being processed, or everything needs to be completed by end year? I've been reading so much stuff I've confused myself🙄 I'm a bit of a worrier and nothings going s...

More than likely things will start opening up sooner than later, possibly July if all goes well. The Cyprus government is pretty laid back in relation to registering and generally accept an appointment receipt or a receipt to prove you've had an interview. Once you arrive and get settled get in touch...
