I don't even think it is wrong. Ok, at face value it is. But I think the film isn't supposed to be taken at face value, it is showing what the kid dreamed of doing. If it was a news report, then I would agree completely. But this is a multimedia scream, as opposed to reality, if you see what I mean....

Yes, these shots would have been taken at about 4PM, when we had just about warmed up again.

Well, it overflowed nearly a month before it overflowed last year, so there is that too.

But I agree, there is a long way to go yet.

The winter rains are on us with a vengeance now, which is good news for the reservoirs. It is fascinating to see once-dry areas become raging torrents, so we took our cameras out to see what nature had in store for us...

The forecast I use is only showing 2x3hr slots with no rain between now and Monday night That forecast would appear to be wrong. Bucketing down at the moment Maybe I worded it wrongly.... I was meant to be saying that the forecast only showed two, three hour slots, when it would not be raining.. So...

You mean 2011-2012. There was virtually no rain 2013-2014.

It's what Limassol gets for being coastal I guess. Any rain falling between the reservoirs and the sea will go through Limassol. And when there is a huge amount of rain, it just can't cope.

Take our house in Polemi; in downpours such as this, the water coming down from the roof is a raging torrent.
